Welcome to project Fast, Cheap, And Quiet. This build will be meant for non-gaming, reliable speed (number crunching, business apps, multitasking) for well under $1000. Here are the components, to be ordered today.

Opteron 146 Venus (have)
G-Skill NS 1GB (2.5-3-3-6) (have)
ASRock 939NF4G nVidia 6100 mATX (have)
2 x 80GB Western Digital SATA150s in RAID 0 (have)
FSP (Fortron) AX450-PN 450W (have)
NEC DVD-RW (have)
NEC Floppy (have)
Lian-Li PC-7B (ordered)
Logitech MX1000 (have)
Generic Keyboard (have)
Windows XP Professional (have)

This will be my third build, and will be for my dad. Wish me luck.

Shipping reached Step 5 approx. 8 hours ago. Hopefully it will arrive on Wednesday.

everything but the case arrived today, the Opty 146 is the CAB2E stepping, 4th week of 06.
