But basically Normal is for a good mix of quality and progress, bold high quality low progress, and rapid does high progress low quality.
haha I use the leves for my theory crafting. That's where I try different kind of stuff.

That is a good point let me rephrase lol.

If you are just looking for points on a levequest just do rapids always and wait if its unstable or red.

If you want to figure stuff out for when you actually make stuff then you can practice. But to my knowledge rapid has the best success raite with least durability, then normal, then bold. So i would only really reccomend bold on white when you are a decent level higher then the item to not screw it up. Just my 2cents.

Ok...I think I got the crafting thing now.
So basically if I need to make a new weapon I would need to buy the blacksmith tools from the town and whatever tools that is required to obtain the materials?

yes but crafting in this game tends to be a bit more complicated. I'm currently trying to make myself a Bronze Labrys, and in order to do so i need to take Blacksmithing, Leatherworking and Carpentry to create all of the materials needed.

depends on what weapon.. some weapon needs carpenter or weaver or w.e. So you need to buy the tools specific to the class that can make the weapon + the required items to make the weap =)
