They say they're going to fix the targeting system first. If they do this soon, i'll give the game another shot. You can't group quest which is suppose to be a major feature correct? : /

Maybe this is the right place to ask: has anyone gotten this to run smoothly using Crossfire? Yes I'm in fullscreen, and I'm getting what I can only describe as a ripple (screen tear?), and I've attempted to force V-Sync On via the driver, radeonpro, and ati tray tool. None of them seem to fix the issue.

Edit: I've tried both catalyst 10.9 and 10.10.

Edit: Fresh 10.9 drivers, using a new Radeon Pro install - was able to force V-Sync, no longer tearing - HOWEVER this has introduced a stutter every 1 second (just spinning camera in an unpopulated area) - any ideas?

The Target system, people get bugged out or mobs become bugged and you can't select them to do anything. It's random and the only thing to do is go out of range and then come back into battle and hope that you can join in. If you can't group together and heal someone whats the point? I'm going to give it another shot once the first patch is out then I'll make my final opinion but so far I'm not happy with the game.

In RadeonPro set crossfire to AFR and Flip Queue Size to 5.

I'm another one of those old FF fans that has completely lost all faith and respect in SE and their product. Even if they did manage to fix many of the issues still plaguing the game I'd not return. In fact I tossed it in the trash. Monkey coded garbage that fails on the dx level in more ways than one. I suppose I'll try to keep my good old FF memories intact and just pretend SE hasn't made anything new since the playstation era.

Isn't that what all collector editions go through? I never found them exciting to buy.

Nah...Enix was fine without Square. Square got lucky with Final Fantasy. Then they almost bankrupted the company with FF: Spirits Within. Luckily for Square, they merged with Enix.
