This is an awesome setup.

How big of an opening are you going to make in the bottom of the case / top of the pedestal for the tubing? Just big enough for them to pass through?

I cut about half of the floor out. I cut an opening 4x`8 out of the center.

I was originally just going to make the holes for the fan power and tubing, but this was easier and seemed like a better idea to get more of the air out of the pedestal.
See photo in post 34.

I cut out everything that was not taped off.

I left enough to mount the pumps and a bracket for the res.

Finally finished most of the wiring for now.

Still need to find a home for a small temperature display and a few LEDS.

Need to run all the SATA cables too. Not sure if I will sleeve them too.

Now waiting for my Bitspower Compression Fittings so I can start running the hoses.

Here are some pictures of the progress.

Pumps and Block..

GTX 470 (waiting for EK Bridge).

Full Shot of the Board and most of the wiring. (still waiting for the rest of the drives.

All the PCIe Slots taken.

From the top down.... GT240 (for Folding), Adaptec RAID, ASUS Xonar, Dual GTX470

Here you can see how much of the floor was cut out. Also, mounted a Bitspower Spltter on top of the Rads to power the Pumps, LEDs, and Fans.

One Set of 2 TB Drives, waiting for the second set. (Wiring done)

Fan Grills Covering the Apache Blacks in the Pedestal.

EK Balcing Plates for the Supreme HF Water Blocks.

Looking through the Pedestal. The two fittings you see will run to the Pump and to one of the CPUs. The other two (fittings missing) will be tied together, so both SR1 - 480 Radiators will work as one Giant one.

Back Panel (I will probably paint the silver plates black) if I get around to it.

EK Resevoir Mounted Using one of the Bitspower Pump Mounts.

Extraordinary looking build. Saw this on EVGA forums a little bit ago without realizing who it was who was working on this build.

can that pedestal be used as just an external tower/radiator cooling unit?

i dont have a whole mountain mods case and was wondering if i could just get that to house my radiators. id like to put it vertically on my desk. is it possible?

I don't see why you couldn't stand it up that way. Just ask that they give you solid top and bottom panels (without mounting holes for the feet). That shouldn't be a problem, since all the panels are the same size. The smaller end panels already have fan holes in them, they don't offer solid ones (I asked).

You would just need to drill holes for feet.

I finally got it powered on and leak tested.

Only two small leaks (one of the plugs in the pump top, wasn't tight enough, and the EK Res was leaking (just needed a slight turn to tighten it up).

Did a quick Win7 install.

Not sure why EVGA makes it so hard to update the BIOS. Would be much easier if you could update it without loading the OS first.

BIOS updated, OS installed, Drivers loaded, Windows Updates done, now I am folding to check for any other problems, until my SSD drives come in.

I plan on installing the OS on the SSDs and the Data on the rest.

Also one of my WD RE4 drives kept giving me a SMART errror, so it it going back for a replacement.

definitely looks possible. You can have the rads in there and have the tubing come out of the fan cutout on one end.
