Now if we can just get BlankThis to run SMP we should be able to whoop some Replacements next month
Mmansueto is impossible to get in contact with... I'm still waiting on a verdict about the E8400.
Also I signed up to adopt a folder for the summer. Some people might not be able to keep their rigs running 24/7 with the heat from the summer so I offered the family's wine cellar. For some reason we have a 30A 220 dryer plug in there

It's a G0 but with a 1.325 VID.

I feel like I'm doing something wrong. Asus has successfully confused me with their BIOS.

Had another unit crash. I decided to reinstall ubuntu(with Jeremy's help), next step is to turn the overclock down just slightly.

Hey Jeremy was talking about your post on your q6600, he said that he had one with that vid and at 1.50v it could hit 3.5ghz, on a zalman 9700 it got to 68C but the ambient temps were around 17C-19C. Also his cases are so loud, but either way if you get to 3.5ghz or above he thinks you could be competitive.

In my team sdla has his Q9400 at 3.7ghz and is doing 2 wu's every other day. With the recent increase in gpu cap, it's not really much difference than the gpu folders. If he is to have a wu go bad or any other problem, the gpu folders pass him up. When things are smooth, he is ahead one day and the next day they are ahead of him. If things work out flawlessly, which they rarely do with smp, I think that it'd be worth trying to use the quad. Since things rarely go so smooth, for extended periods of time, it might be better to keep using the gpu until you can get a nice dual core. As of today, he has had two days that he didn't get the 2 wu's, based on the every other day ratio, and he is down less than 400pts. If he would have had those wu's go through, he'd be up over 3k.

I don't want to shoot your plans down and I always encourage smp, but I"m just giving my honest opinion.

I bumped it down from 4.05ghz to 3.9ghz, hopefully that will fix the computer. I have lost 3 units this month so I figure the loss of speed would be more than made up by if I had gotten those units.
