Download the new drivers from Nvidia. Do you have an old videocard that you know works that you can try?

I just got the replacement 3 or 4 days ago and it works perfect. What brand did you get? Apparently EVGA had a run with some bad memory........ I hope this is not whats happening to you. RMA'ing sucks!!!
Thanks for the headsup. If the EVGA cards have bad memory, that I am going to pursue this! I am in contact with EVGA support now.

another thing you might want to check into is the BIOS version of your motherboard.....usually its pretty simple to update, mine came with a desktop program that would automatically download and install the BIOS without having to deal with the floppy drive and all of that bs (I don't even have a floppy drive)

Honesty, it sounds like your video card may be defective. ........i HOPE NOT, but the more I think about it, the more it sounds like exactly what my card was doing.

It is never a bad thing to have the latest drivers, bios. Got to www.guru3d.com and download the nividia forceware driver 84.21, this is what I am using and it works great. Also, get that BIOS updated. If you continute to have problems..........its probably your video card..............but,

Do you perhaps know someone that has a computer where you could stick your video card in and see if the problems happens on that computer, too? Thats what I did, and the artifacting happened on the second PC. 2 weeks later, I have a perfect card in my PC.

As for the overclocking, if I were you I would concentrate on getting a stock computer that is stable and running great, THEN start overclocking. It sounds like you've got some problems to take care of first.
