HELP HELP HELP

so this is what i have done. i bought the pc, with them installing the softwares for me. when i brought it home i realise theres this problem.

so i updated BIOs, mobo driver, nVidia forceware thing, all the drivers that i can install, and all the things i can install from the CDs that came along with the hardware. i even unplugged the graphics card, and replugged it back and still the problem persists. :***:

so so so, does this mean theres a problem with my card? or is there any mor softwares i left out?? ( i can't try with other cards / on fren's pc cause mine is the only pci-e and my older card is agp)

Just to let you know, the EVGA customer support was quick to instruct me to RMA my card. This is what the customer support person said:

Quote:
it does seem that the card may have faulty memory upon it in which you would need to get it replaced.
So now I have to put the old heatsink and fan back on! What a bummer, how long does EVGA customer support take?

The only thing that sucks about the Evga is that they are so damn hard to find......I returned my card to Tiger Direct. I had a new card within 10 days. If youre willing to temporarily charge the cost of a 2nd vid card to your credit card, they will ship one immediately and then credit you back once they receive the defective unit.

if its my card, den it sorta weird. cause its ALMOST fine when i played serious sam 2 on it. and also this TM nations racing game(highest quality and non sort of even a lag bite)

weird, but when i play other games that don't come with the package bundle(serious sam2 and TM nations come with it) like WoW, it lags so bad

edit: i'll bring it down to the shop tmr for 1:1 exchange, hope it works, if it doens't, i'm dead =/

I seem to have the same problem with a customers computer, it seems to be his screen Samsung 730bf dvi. without it it does not skip frames.

If you have the chance test this!

Best Regards
Phill
