temperatures mobo?

Thread Starter
Hi I have just oc'd my laptop from 1.6 to 2.6 And now I want to know what the temperatures are.
I have downloaded speedfan which is reading the hd temp as 27' but to get the cpu temp i need to put in the make + model etc of the mobo (which I dont know)
Cpu-z says the make and model is 'dixonxp' which isn't a real mobo.
can anyone tell me what mobo I have got?

I never suggest oc'ing a laptop because of their lack of cooling. If you want to get into OC'ing stuff you should pick up a home computer

I agree that overclocking a laptop is a very bad idea. I have also overclocked mine slightly but not by much for safety reasons.

Everest may/may not be able to determine what the temperature of the CPU is at, if it can't then it is possible that there may not be support for it.
As your computer is obviously from Dixons it will have a locked BIOS which will prevent a lot of information about it from being disclosed and thus is why CPU-Z can't get all the required information from the board.
