Thread Starter
I would like to know if any of you guys knows how to fix the problem where after I installed my x-fi souncard it slow down my boot-up process. Like my computer used to boot up like where there are bar running and then it will boot up, well after I installed the x-fi it like lagged for a moment and then the bar will start to move again and then boot up which slow down the process for a couple of moment.

It's the computer loading the drivers. With your specs, I'm not surprized

Make sure you have onboard audio turned off in the bios. That might be it.

Just turn it off to be totally sure that isn't it. Can't hurt by trying it.

it is probably a conflict between your sound card and onboard sound, because there shouldnt be any noticeable boot up difference with the installation of an X-Fi.
