When he says CSX I assume he means CrossFireX, which is the ATI equivalent of SLI.

Last post in this thread seriously.

I was NOT trying to say you were stupid for not going my way. PLEASE choose what you want, its your computer. Was just a friendly helpful build recommendation.

A lot the stuff i picked out are great deals, and some may not be.

All I know is I got my CPU a quad core at 3.8GHz and NB 2.8GHz for $80. and my 3 hard drives were $100 total. I'm not at all bragging, just pointing out that...

I would seriously look into buying used items from overclock.net

does CSX have the same overall effect as SLI? Would two 5850s be better than two GTX 470s? chances are I am not going to ever get two GTX 470s though... I might do the two 460s though, because according to that website it is an insane difference. http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/181?vs=180

SLI tends to scale better than CrossfireX. Especially with the GTX 400 series cards.

hmmmm, so i think i am going to go with the two 460s. that seems good right? because the difference between two 460s and one 470 is huge. think it is worth the price difference? it is only about $140. Ugh. Or should i get a 470 now and maybe in a year or two get another 470?

is the build you gave me CSX ready? also my brother said that 8g of RAM is useless unless you are doing rendering, which i will not be doing

Ok, and the board listed in your build supports that right? Will I have to worry about temperatures at all?
