How is this PSU?

Antec True Power II 550W

it has like 19a on 2 rails?

whats the difference between 1 and 2 rails?

will this be enough power to run a 400GB HD, ASUS A8N32 Deluxe and overclock my Opty 175 to 2.8GHZ on both cores?

is this a good PSU?

it is a pretty decent psu, but I would go w/ a Seasonic S12-600 if you can.

dual rails split the power up to try to help stabalize the system by giving your mobo a separate rail

Also, dual rail gives you more power in a safer package. UL and the TUV don't want you putting more than 20A over thin wires or bare traces. Dual rails lets you get 30A or more safely.

the PSU says +12(1) 19A and +12(2) 19A

does that mean 2 rails?

and does it add 19+19? so it has 38A?

is that enough power to do what I need?

Theoretically yes you would get 38 amps with the rails combined. In real life tho...you would get about 30 amps steadily. This should be fine to run about any system except a very high end sli/crossfire rig.

Yeah, it has two rails. It will power your system amp-wise, but don't forget about your wattage. Also, fan size and number is another important factor. Same with whether you want modular or not.

"Modular PSU " allows the user to plug in the power cables as required , less clutter in the case. Except my Liberty PSU: the 24 pin main power and the 12V aux. power aren't modular.
