So i have been having issues overclocking on my sig rig.
The overclocking i understand for the most part, but i cannot get anything perfectly stable over 3.6ghz.
Im looking to get at least 4-4.2ghz, and im sure my rig can do it, im just having a lot of problems getting there. (i have gotten there, but it was far from stable.)
I cannot even get stable just setting my ram to "stock" settings of 6-8-6-24 1T, even at 1333mhz, when the ram is rated at 1600mhz.
I can get it stable at 1T, but have to set it to 8-8-8-24 1T, and stock settings for cpu.
Anyone able to help me? i cannot find any i3 overclocking guides or anything, and didnt think i could follow the i7 ones, because of different rules for the chips? I just dont understand a lot of what the voltages mean, like PCH, IMC, PLL? do i need to mess with these?
Im going to go jump back in the bios and see if i can get anything stable above 3.6 while im waiting for a response.
