I admit, Android isn't as good for graphics intense games.
Fantastic phone, awesome customization, if you don't mind no games.

Have you seen the epic Citadel?

Amazing. Its why I got the iPhone4 as well.

android is fine for gfx intense games, it depends on the phone I got a moto droid OC'd to 800mhz and heroes of spart and dungeon hunter look great. And the games im playing on the itouch aren't any better looking, their just a lot funner. I wasn't talking about the gfx these games possess but I mean the amount of ones that seems like there was a lot of time spent on them rather than these arcade style games that play like they only had a days worth of development to them.

I apologize, I meant the same thing you have stated, just that there is indeed a lack of development.

A lot from what I can gather. The entire engine wasn't ported for cheap, nor was it easy to do. They plan on using it, and selling the engine to users.

How odd that we talk about this in the Android topic. I appreciate technology from any manufacturer as long as its good, but there are many other people who think because they have a single device, their device is much better to justify the costs. Have fun with your iPod Touch 4. The screen isn't as good as the iPhone, but it is as Steve Jobs says 'an iPhone4 without a contract.' Fantastic marketer that man.

I'm not much of a gamer myself and I don't mind the text games. Android is awful if it was just google and manufactures, it is the community that gives it the edge over Apple, although I never knew that a camera would ever crash in my phone, haha.

well the only reason I have my itouch is cause i got it for free, I don't mind apple devices cause they do good at what their intended to do, what I hate is the followers of apple as if apple themselves single handed created touch screen mp3 players and all the sorts and I dislike them as a company as a whole so I'd never give them my money, too many other brainless zombies are doing a good job at that. The main thing I love about my droid, jsut to throw it out there, is motorola were smart, they put gorilla glass in this thing, it's a beast type of glass.

All that aside, I love gadgets, I love technology, I generally don't give a damn who makes what or who likes what. If it does what I need it to do when I need it, then I'm happy. This iTouch lets me keep my phone battery in the green a bit longer

btw, what part of chicago are you from? I'm only about 30-40 minutes from there

I just picked up myself a HTC G2!! I'm running stock 2.2 for now until the whole rooting issue is sorted out.
The Southside, I heard a lot about Rockford, unfortunately it was mostly that you guys hung out at Wal-mart.

Congrats. I think you can root it now, but I'm not completely sure.

I personally see no appeal in using my phone as a portable gaming device, aside from the occasional solitaire game or round of whack-a-mole. It is pretty amusing to sit there and play Super Mario Bros, but it's definitely not ideal. I guess I just don't have a use for it.

However, the one thing that I found has gone missing from my G2 that I intensely desire would be the WiFi hotspot feature... T-Mo apparently killed that.
