Intel Pentium 4 upgrade

Thread Starter
I have Pentium 4 2.4 400fsb i cannot overclock it with my current system(p4p800vm). Now the question should i upgrade to like a 2.8 800fsb 1mb cache for about $130-150 ? or should i wait for that new windows vista and dx 10 and the new system parts that are to come out before upgrading i mean a new processor with duel core that vista will perform better with?

I think that you should maybe wait for the new things to come out like you suggested Vista im thinking wants atleast a 3.0ghz Intel processor to run nicely so keep that in mind.
