Currently at 12115 PPD according to HFM on project 8009 (3 min TPF). Does that seem good? Also, does the GPU memory clock matter much for GPU PPD?
One trick for certain BOINC projects is to lower GPU mem clock if the project doesn't need it to let the card run cooler and on less voltage.
EDIT: Actually, I just noticed that that OC wasn't sticking (it defaulted back to 700MHz), so now I'm at 900/1800/1900 (core clock/shader clock/mem clock) and 1.050V. ~13.5k PPD now.
Jetpak, I didn't see anyone answer this for you, so I thought I would chime in. From what I understand (and from looking at my own GPU-Z), folding actually works on the Shader Clocks of the GPU, so memory doesn't matter as much (if you look at GPU-Z the memory is hardly used at all while folding). So you could probably
turn your memory clocks down if that helps you get stable. Personally, I've never tried this (never thought of it before actually), but I'll probably try it when I get back home next week!
Good luck in the TC, Ninjas!
