Hey guys, back up and running... I had to install the LAN driver from the mobo CD... guess my mobo didn't like ASUS's "latest and greatest" driver. I hope to have VM and Linux up and folding tomorrow (fingers crossed)

Ya know, with the cat 3 rules now... not sure it makes sense to go through the trouble of a VM and Linux client setup... maybe I should just go the easy route with FAH GPU Tracker V2

EDIT: Ya, so I'm up and running with the windows client... at least for now.

Congrats on getting your rig up again. I know Linux setup is a pain, but if we ever want to win the TC, we have to maximize our ppd, especially the 3 of us because our systems make the most ppd. This month is not going to be a win for us obviously, but next month we can start over. The new TC really makes stamina and small gains important. If we can get everyone to fold 24-7 without long periods of down time and run Linux on our CPU folding rigs, we would have a shot at winning. I had a crash earlier this month so I know how hard it is to keep a rig up, I worry about mine all the time. What do you guys think? Should the ninjas fold for the win, or just fold for fun and let the chips fall where they may? I think it is fun regardless, but trying to win would be more fun IMHO. biggrin.gif

@Hertz, did you get your new MB yet. I kinda wish my gigabyte board had cool uefi bios like the Asus/as rock ones do.

I will be folding on my i7 and gtx670 later on this month for the fold a thon. I should make an extra 22k is I OC my 670.

Points vs no points for uni sounds like a win. thumb.gif We need to work on the current situation.
