@Hertz, that would be awesome if you could fold on a 780. Actually a 7970 is awesome too, but the Ninjas might be able to dominate with you on a 780. The strongest team will be the one with a 780 in GPU Elite, a 7970 in AMD, and a 680 in Nvidia. You could still win with a 7970 in Elite, as long as the whole team folded more consistently than the other teams, but a team with a 780 will have a big advantage. Still it is your money and I have no right to tell you what to do with it. Either way the Ninjas will be strong in the new categories.
I know you all already know this, but I keep re-learning it; a stable OC you can maintain indefinitely is way better than a faster less stable OC that causes you to loose productivity. I lost about 2 days I think.
Today I am swapping out my motherboard. I was able to get a MSI Z77 board for the same price as my Asus B75 board. It will enable me to get 3770k and CPU fold later on if I ever want to. I'm not planning on it, but I like the flexibility. Hopefully after today I can get my rig more stable.

It would be a tight fit, and those 770's would get hot, but it's a possibility. Job is looking up, and with the wedding almost here and over, lots more wiggle room.
@ Jellis, are you thinking of upgrading your 460 to a 660? Or are you thinking of switching categories altogether?Edited by valkeriefire - 7/23/13 at 10:08am
