Next Gen Nvidia cards???

Thread Starter
I have heard the next gen video cards will need a Windows Vista specific processor on them. I also noticed next to my PCIe ports theres a smaller port for "Next generation graphics cards" per users manual. I wasn't able to find anything online about these. Has any one leaked information about the next gen Nvidias? Would it be safe to say these won't be coming out till next Christmas?

Incorrect. Any DX9 card or higher will be able to support Vista.

Yes those cards will be comming out in Xmas or that time atleast. Vista doesnt actually need specific DX10 cards it will just be the direct x 10 games that will look better with DX10

Some people in another thread said that current cards would support through emulation which sucks. http://www.overclock.net/nvidia/8175...00-gs-sli.html

Yeah, support Direct X 10 through emulation. Not Vista.
