Phenom II X4 B55 OC question.

Thread Starter
Phenom II X2 555BE unlocked to Phenom II X4 B55 OC'd to 3.6ghz on stock heatsink/fan.

Seems to be cool so far but unable to find a program to read the temps. Apparently having ACC activated disables the temp readings or something.

Any ideas? Also is it a bad idea to OC this CPU on stock heatsink/fan?

You have to monitor socket temp.
In hwmonitor its gonna be tmpin0.
If your hitting 60c you need to back your oc off a little bit.
It is very wise to get a aftermarket cooler if you oc.
and make sure you test with prime 95 for 12+ hours.

Thanks for the reply, Hwmonitor reads it at 46c idle however the cores say 0c.

Ran P95 for 9 hours with no errors or warnings after OCing.

also, any idea what the tmpin1 and tmpin2 readings are? and tested under load with a game in running about 56c atm
