Have you tried Rivatuner? I run it in the background and it gives a log or a chart of temp and clocks.
I'm sure there's other programs out there though...

since yours is an evga card once u install the driver there should be an nvidia icon that appears in the sys tray. click on it and open it there is one in there that tells you the temperature of the card my evga 6600gt 128mb runs at bout 50c

Is there anything like where FRAPS shows the FPS, but instead it shows the temp? or even both?

That would be sweet to be able to see it realtime during fullscreen games/benchmarks

Yeah its a pitty that FRAPS does not have this feature.

what about everest? it shows realtime temps just minimize it and look at the temps in your tray

I use NvTempLogger, shows up in the system tray in real time. It can also log temps as you play a game so you can review it after playing.
