a/v sync in exported movies in Premiere Pro 7.0

Thread Starter
Ok I've been doing video work in Premiere lately and I've of course noticed that the audio and video are sometimes out of sync when editing...which you can attribute to lag from processing.

I have verified that the captured video I work with is perfectly in sync. However, when I go to export an edited movie, the audio and video are noticeably out of sync. It's not horrible, but I can tell. I'm exporting to DV AVI format, default settings...what's the deal?

EDIT: It even happens to clips where I haven't edited the audio...where the audio and video are still linked.

Try puting it slightly before in a black space then try saving. I use Windows movie maker, and pinncle studio 9 because I cannot figure out but a few simple commands on Premier, GL.
