Mining is always exciting and if the goal it to survive at all costs then its twice as fun! Finding a dungeon and watching you navigate and fight would be awesome. Overall its your idea, Im just throwing random ideas
Yes I totally agree with this idea, but did not have anything set in stone as far as what I would focus on each episode.
I think what I will do is see how the previous episode ends.
So if we travel and end up at an awesome cave, next episode we will explore that cave for anything we can find.
Pretty much wing it from episode to episode. If I need health I will set out to get some and possible create some armor and things like that.

Sounds awesome! Reminds me of that TV show Kung Fu. The foundation is solid and winging it is the best approach I think because its a very unpredictable game as far as survival goes. The new update is going to go great with your idea too because its going to be more dangerous and torches wil go out so it will create a more "temp" atmosphere for you.

Not sure why people are planning on not resetting their maps after the update. You won't get biomes without resetting your map. Not sure if you'll see hell worlds either.

Also biomes would make it more Man v. Wild, I think. In this episode, minorthreat survives for two days in a desert wasteland with only pig meat!

There you go! Thats great! Show you surviving in the open with lets say 2 sticks and a egg or something crazy! Make it not about what you have but what you want to use per say. Awesome ideas guys!

To find caves or dungeons, is there a certain place I should dig or should I keep on looking around?

Nope dungeons are completely random. Ive found some a block under my house that I had no idea was there and then I have had to mine for hours to find one. Rule of thumb is when you want one, you cant find one and when you need to get home, your stuck in one. Have fun.
