Sounds good!

5-story lighthouse with an upside-down glass pyramid full of lava on top, with netherrack garnish.

That's quite the accomplishment. On my most recent save I've been focusing on zombie defense (especially since spiders can climb walls now) rather than aesthetics. Right now it's a pretty ugly looking setup.

Drowning setup...water on 3 sides, enemies see me through the water, come after me and enter the downpour, not long before they're dead. Best thing is, water currents are channeled through holes in the ground to the basement...all I need to do is climb down the ladder after luring them in, and whatever they drop comes right to me. Don't even have to go after it.

I've seen setups like this but never had the thought of making one. Perhaps I should try it out. Seems like an easy, non-cheating way to get sulfur and bones.

I second that statement. I'm definitely putting that on my to-do list.

Also, nice Sandy Bridge build.

One more...my postmodern flat with attached skyscraper. Workshop on 1st floor, Nether portal on 2nd floor, and glass-enclosed ladder/elevator to the cloud-shrouded top. On top, a dark room with a hole in the floor, enemies spawn and fall to their deaths...just spaces away from the workshop. Convenient!

Whoa. Srs bizniss. I need to build a master structure like this, instead of having all of my things spread out in separate buildings. It makes things complicated come nighttime.

The lighthouse was built because...I get lost a lot, and usually forget a compass. Can't miss that thing though.
