Hey this is my first time here! Firts of all: Wow what a big community!
Well, I asked on nvidia.com how I could OC my Intel i5 750 on my Acer Motherboard. Someone said me that I´d better ask here because here are much OC specialists!
Well simple thing, as I said, I want to overclock my CPU with my OEM Motherboard. I already updated my BIOS but there is still no function to OC. Atleast now the Turbo Boost Mode goes to 3,2 GHZ after the update. Well, do you know if and how it´s possilbe to make CPU Overclokcing at my OEM PC, although I dont use Acer Case anymore. And I bought a new Graphiccard.
Well my specs:
Win7 *64 Home Premium
500W Power Supply ( I know not that powerful)
GTX 465 (not Overclocked)
6GB DDR3
Core i5 750
My Motherboard is from the Acer Aspire M5811 ( I can´t tell you any name or smth)
My CPU Temps on Idle are:
Core 0: 30
Core 1: 28
Core 2: 26
Core 3: 28
(SpeedFan)
On Load im not sure, but I think around 50°C they must be.
