The Tuniq Tower 120 is on my gaming rig and does excellent between 3.4 and 3.5 GHZ. No noise, no fuss. I may put one of these on my folding rig to eliminate the water cooling annoyance. But, they are B.I.G.!!! Better make sure your case can handle it.

On a sadder note. My folding rig is down again. I don't think it's the RAM this time. When a SMP job begins, it starts one of 100 parts and says "INTERRUPTED" and won't continue. Everything else works fine. No reboots or other bad signs. I destroyed the FAH folder and reloaded. Still same thing. I downshifted my ram, CPU, voltages and still same thing. I'm going to load the windows SMP client just to see if I get the same response.

I've never tried W/C but I keep thinking about trying it. If it were my rig, I would run it on air (Even the stock HS) until you can get a pump. SMP will give you a lot more points on that C2D. You can have it all set up and running so when you're ready to switch to W/C, it will be ready for some nice OCing.

I think i found a new pump some one had on another site. to run air i need a cooler because i bought the cpu with out a heat sink so i need one to run it.

Smart really, the stock ones aren't much good anyway unless you're just going to run stock settings.

Just curious on your pump, have you took it apart to see if something is causing it to stop? Maybe sludge or a loose connection could cause that to happen. I remember one I had on my fish tank, I had to clean it up every once in a while. Where the shaft went into the end housing usually got pretty nasty causing it to slow down or stop. Just something to look at.

So far the Windows SMP client is running pretty well. Have to see if it completes a WU.

Oh good Franken, glad that's working for ya! I wonder what happened, was that Ubuntu with Vmware that messed up?

You probably won't have any ram trouble now since you got spares.
well i got the pump working consistantly last night so tonight if i get time i'll time have the Ubuntu with Vmware I'm going to try to run it for atleast one WU with another name before i take off my two computers running it now. so maybe by monday or tuesday i'll be running full speed (i hope., I know i said this before )

wish me luck
(also i am getting the other pump still, for a back up cause i remembered the others problems this team always runs into)
