where i have it right now it sound really good when i sit far away.its ok when i sit at my desk but the impact isnt as good if i wasnt. i cant move it anywhere because the cable from the computer to my control pod wont reach. also the control pod cable that connect to the sub wont go any farther. mine is in a corner. surround by tables and walls on all four side.

have u guys try to sit farther away from your sub to see how it sound?

edit; by the way i have a side firing sub with the tube to the adjecent side of it. if you dont know what i mean search z-5500 on yahoo image or something

QUOTE=crashovride02]The trick is to place it so you can't actually hear what direction it is coming from. Bass is non-directional so if you can HEAR where the bass is coming from it's in the wrong spot.[/QUOTE]

thats kinda hard cuz i know where i place it. so in my mind i always think its comming from that one place lol. you know what i mean?

heres a rough drawing of my room.(the 2 corner of the desk suposed to be almost touching each other with about 1inch gap) is the sub facing the right way?

i dont know how to upload photos sorry. how do i make it the orginal size?
