This is what i come up with:

Finally got it - had the sync lines all crossed. VESA-DDC pinout is on the net, so here is how it ended up. Not sure that everything is correct, but it did function as computer display.

Again, this is a Dell monitor model D1025HT, made by Sony in 1997.

Input cable goes to 2 PC board connectors:

Big Conn --- 15 sub D

-- R gnd -- 6
-- R -- 1
-- G gnd -- 7
-- G -- 2
-- B gnd -- 8
-- B -- 3
-- Horz Sync - 13
-- Vert Sync - 14
-- Ground -- 10

Small Conn --- 15 sub D

shld -- Data gnd -- 5
red -- Data -- 12
--- NC ---
wht -- +5v -- 9
yel -- Dat Clock -- 15

May help someone sometime. DDC says 4 & 11 are NC. Not sure I got all the data lines in the right place - followed the standard as I found it (even at Dell). Anyway, read the dos messages & sent it out the door!

I am trying do the same thing but with a Dell P992 monitor.
The Monitor works OK, however I can't get the plug'n'play part to function properly.
Here is a link to the schematic for a D1025tm monitor, this may help you as it shows the connectors and their function. Look for "CN307" and "CN310" in the first drawing of "DELL D1025TM.rar"

I know it's a bit late but...
Cheers
