Overclock.net decided to sponsor myself for the HWBOT OC Challenge September 2010

I Look forward to representing OCN with my fellow teammates, Pizzaman and FTW420, which with the grace of the overclocking gods that we share favorable and respectable results.

I've been quietly working on my card over the course of a few days deciding and planning. I will also be doing a rebuild of the 2nd gpu power phase.


Your normal, everyday run-of-the-mill XFX GT220

Like I said, I'm going to be building up the second GPU Power Phase so I'm still waiting on some parts to come in. SO far I have completed ocp, vmem, vgpu, and necessary read points.

Front of the card, and you'll notice I took a play from MSI's playbook by adding convenient vmem and vgpu read points

Yeah... if it's not too much of a pain to desolder those, I'd absolutely switch them out for some better caps.


Also, brilliant idea with the voltage reading. I should have done that with my 5450!

I'm currently in the process of rebuilding the 2nd gpu power phase and these tiny resistors/caps are a PITA. I've never used a magnifying glass while soldering until today o.0

Looking forward to seeing the 2nd power phase & the results with it.
I found my problem with the volt mod, I wired the vr wrong before soldering it in. Works fine now.
