first system build, how does it look?

Thanks to some advice and forum posting on this site I think i've been able to make a farily good decision on my new system I plan on building.


So anyways....tell me what you think and if I can do better for my dollar and such

not sure why you getting a $450 video card and 512mb of valueram... not a good combo. with that card, do atleast 1 gb.. and do you plan to overclock? also you can get the 4400 for like 50 more on newegg.. with a 1mb cache.. that site looks expensive

whatever you do. DONT GET VALUE RAM!!!!
if you are a gamer, get AT LEAST A GIG
if you want to do BF2 or FEAR or things like that,
then definatley spring the cash for 2 gigs

you could back off on the CPU and the GPU if you need to
back off ont the GPU first

those are Canadian prices my friend

and I plan on getting 4 sticks of the ram to go to 2 gigs....I forgot to mention that so I just stuck it in the bottom of the post

and unfortunately newegg doesn't ship to canada I believe

ohhh sorry, didnt notice the 4 sticks deal... still i think you can do alot better for that price, because i realize newegg doesnt ship to canada... im not sure who does

get 2 sticks if you wanna oc
dont get 4

OCZ and G.Skill make great ram,as does corsair

id recommend OCZ platinum
