Did you have it set to -smp 12 or -smp 8?

Very, very tempting to steal that avatar of yours.

Anyway, I was using the 12 core hack in ubuntu 10.10 for hugeadv, and after that ended I didn't change anything, but it never worked very well, I didn't think (Mind, I have no grounds for comparison).

But removing the corefix from ubuntu startup programs on a hunch damn near doubled my PPD.
However, what I don't quite understand is, my PPD on site has shown ~27k, while in HFM.Net it's been around 15k.

Now, it's showing 30k+ in HFM.Net. Does that mean it'll be 60k on site? :O Might be a tad optimistic, I guess. But I can't figure out why there's zero consistency, and haven't been able to find an answer (yet).

Edit: Gah, now it dropped to 11k PPD. On the same WU! This is so broken frown.gif

Do you have The Kraken installed?

The kraken is more for AMD multi-cpu folders...
For Intel it was the BFS script, though that really only affected hugeadv's anyway

Edit: Sorry, double post

Well then that's your fault.
Did you try flipping the monitor upside-down for compatibility with the rest of the world?
