Unless I can get a job or convince my parents that it's not that much money per day. Then probably 24/5 or 24/6 I'm going to see if they notice I left it on I turned it off for 12-14 hours. The only real reason I think they noticed is because of all the damn light it emits.

Current line-up:

i7 - Digigami (i7 2600k)
Fermi - Zhanger (GTX 460)
X6/2500k - phazer11 (i5 2500k)
Cat2 - ~sizzzle~ (i5 760)
Wildcard - mach1 (i7 950)
Thx zodac.

Hmm looks liek I had 11% of a WU done before I stopped it to turn it off. Think I should restart it? It's a 6901 bigadv unit.

Best way to gauge your consumption is get a kill-a-watt or something simular and you can check exactly how much your rig uses, multiply by your electricity cost and you know exactly how much it changes your bill.

You really shouldn't stop a bigadv in the middle of it, the bonus points are calculated based on how quick you return it. Stopping it for any length of time means you likely won't get it done fast enough to qualify for the bonus.

Yeah I didn't even think about it when my parents asked me why it was still on (in that turn it off now kind of tone)
Lol they wouldn't pay for one I don't even have to ask lol.

Speaking of stopping a bigadv in the middle... came in this morning to a BSOD... working on this oc, thought it was quite stable at 4.1... guess not... back to 3.8 but I'm not sure if i'm gonna make the deadline now. I guess i'll see in a couple of frames

Nope, no deadline for me... I cut it in the middle for the during the foldathon, so the bsod was the nail in the coffin for that one. Back to SMP for a few and to work on a stable oc.. then bigadv by tonight. Was getting 34 min frames at 3.8ghz when i decided to quit it...

Just can't seem to get this thing stable over 4.0... any ideas guys? I'm at 175x23, 1.29vcore... If I brought the ram over 1600, bsod...so its at 1403 right now...QPI at 3150mhz... these settings are running well at 75* full load...

Can't help thinking it could go higher... had it at 4.2, 1.3vcore... but too hot, 83* ->bsod

Yeah mine BSOD this morning I mistakenly ran a bad sector check (Ubuntu said my bigger and more heavily used HDD had lots of bad sectors 89 when I tried to install it to a blank partition) while folding bigadv units it was fine while I was here lmao

We still have a few days before the start of next month. Work on getting it stable with IBT & Prime 95 before starting a bigadv. Preferably 4.0 or higher.

If you need help getting it stable feel free to PM me or I imagine Digi could give you a hand too. I have a different motherboard but I'm somewhat familiar with overclocking Bloomfield's on an Asus board. I'm usually online a couple times a day, mid morning and late night. Maybe Digi will send you his 4.3 profile .
