Grx Card to CPU Bottleneck - Page 2

That does seem quite low for a system with a 7800GT do you know what you get when the card is overclocked?

I know my friend's stock 7800GT gets in the 80k region thats with a 2.5ghz 3000+ or 3200+.

What settings are your ram currently on?

Had to run a divider. running at bang on 202 MHz I can overlock the card again and usually reach 80k or just over but I don’t want to push it as I was starting to get artifacts and am not really games at the mo till after I finish uni

Well if you dont really game that much I suppose there isn't much point trying to push it. It just seems odd to me that my friend with a slower cpu can score higher with a stock 7800GT.

Even my GS overclocked will get 79800 on aq3. Just know there is potential there to be had, after all in the Benchmark sticky someone got 94k with a 7800GT.

ThaWaxShop got over 100k with his 3700+ at 3GHz and a 7800GT... don't know if it was stock or not.
