Stress Test Programs

Thread Starter
Im now going throught the process of stress testing my new clocks, bu as there are so many programs to do it with could somone give me a good order to do it in?

I have read the best way top do it is 32m super PI, OCCT, 3D marks 05/06 and then prime95 for 8-10 hours. But as i have a X2 i cant find any way to get OCCT to run 100% cpu usage(unlike on Super PI and Prime92, rus 2 of them) so if any one could help me on how to do that or if its not possible advice me on a different program to use?

Also i no there are lots off other programs out there to test stability so if any one could list them that would be great, Im going for fully stable, every program possible!

Those apps are the key ones and OCCT is really an interim step to Prime, so u can skip that and run dual sessions of the others.

Do post up your results when you get to that sweet spot. GL

is there a sertaing thread for posting results? as i dont want to just make a thread saying how my clocking whent.

Well i had it fully stable at 2300Mhz not long ago but i want to pust it a little more, atm i have got my Cpu fully stable at 2500Mhz, but im now testing 2600Mhz. once i find the complete max i will re-test my ram and then finalise it all.

Also if you can help me on this, i have noticed when people have posted pics of results on prime95 it has said: 9hour torture test, but when ever i use prime95 it only says self test? is there a difference in how much stress it puts on the CPU?
