yup that's the one...do you know how to get into the memory divider.....the manual wasn't a lot of help.....thanks again

Not right off the top of my head but when you go into bios try to go into the advanced section or whatever and sometimes the divider is hidden if you do not hit the down arrow enough to go down far enough. Thats why I could not find mine. Just look for something wtih the word "memory" in it.

It goes quite nicely...back in town now after a quick trip to Adelaide and a blinder of a night out with tuchan.. oh and then some work the next day be it at a very slow pace.

To the problem at hand.

Enter the BIOS select 'DELETE' at post
select 'ADVANCED CHIPSET FEATURES'
select 'DRAM CONFIGURATION'
In this screen you can change your timmings.

For the dividers

select 'POWER BIOS FEATURES'
select 'MEMORY FREQUENCY (MHz)'
In this screen you have your options of AUTO and 100MHz to 250MHz

cheers..hope it helps
