I'm building a new PC since I do not want to play with the family's comp and needed advice on mobo/graphic card and if I should change some parts to get a better build, staying in the 1500$ range. Also, I'd like the computer to be upgradable.

those prices are in USD, correct? imo, i could build you a better system with 1.5k, but i need to know what kind of currency were dealin with first. =)

It's in US dollar, well I check the CAN prices then switch them to US, if you have better I'd appreciate your help. So my budget is 1500 U$

keep the memory the same, and the case as well.

For the sound card, i dont really recommend a killer audio card because... sound is sound. but if your willing to spend 280 on one, thats fine i assume. I chose the opteron because theyre really good in desktops, and should be better than the 3700+. =)

What about the mobo? I now get a 1050$ US Total without the processor/mobo, could I get a better processor + mobo with 500$?
