Thanks. My biggest question for a long time has been about the cooling. Watching the Fermis cooking eggs on Youtube, while they kinda actually made me wanting a Fermi even more (I don't know, there's just something about being able to use a computer to cook breakfast that makes life so fascinating), I also know they'd be unable to keep it up long-term. lol

while you may not have agreed, glad you found my input somewhat useful.
As for the build in its current state, solid build. Good components and companies.
I know you dont want to OC much since you havent before, but the 930 is still the best choice money wise, but to each their own.
When its built, I'm sure you'll like it and thats what matters. Well and no buyers remorse, its a killjoy and a half.

I hope it's okay to necro-bump this thread of mine with some more questions since I'll be getting my money on October 12th.

1. Does anyone have experience with the G-15 and the Steelseries Merc Stealth keyboards? I'm looking more at getting the latter one.

2. Looks like two items, Thermalright cooler and the AeroCooler Multi-Function Panel, are discontinued. Would this Noctua NH-C12P SE14 140mm SSO CPU Cooler do well?

what are you using this rig for? IF your using it for gaming the 12gigs of RAM is overkill since you won't be using more than 4. So I would recommend only getting 6 gigs of RAM. The 1200watt power supply is overkill as well. An 850watt is more than what you'll ever need unless you plan on using 3 480's any of these Corsair HX850, XFX BE 850W, SeaSonic S12D 850W, SeaSonic M12D 850W, Silverstone Strider Plus 850W. The i7 is pointless as well since no games utilize hyper threading...Unless your using this computer for some really intense video editing then you don't have to make these corrections....well the power supply is still overkill. As for the CPU cooler see this guide. The best air cooler on the market is the NH-D14 but its fairly large. Cogage Arrow, VenX, and Megahelms are good as well.
Edit: OP, you stated you don't plan on overclocking any time soon?....might want to get a budget cooler like the CM 212+ then. For the 480's air cooling should be fine and if your not overclocking water cooling is pointless (unless you want to do it for the fun of it) and so getting a high end cpu cooler.

Thanks for the advice, Ninjaburrito. Went with some of it, too. Actually, I decided to wait out on SLI until Christmas. (Very complicated, however... what I thought should've received as a $10k check, turned out to be a $6.5k check, so I decided to be fair about it.)

So this is my new build: From CPU-Z, and right now installing XIV on it while I do stuff on this system. lol

(I'm not sure if I'm reading something wrong, as that above mark shows it underperforming? And my CPU-monitor widget says it's operating at 3068MHz.)

Well, whatever it was... I got better results this time.
