BTW very nice ssd setup there ACHILLES, I'll soon be as much of an addict as you In fact in GTA IV LATD I'm only seeing one load screen on my Vertex 1. No in game improvement unsurprisingly given my setup but really the loading super fast is lovely.

Congratulations, got yourself on a decent controller hub I totally agree about dedicated drives though, I now have my OS on the 60GB vertex 2 and Steam in its entirity on the 120GB vertex 1. I've had to symlink a few of the never-played games away off to a mechanical drive so I can fit it on in there but it does seem to run very nicely, load times for the games themselves are crushed and actually the Steam program itself seems a good bit more responsive.

I was so surprised when my Socket 775 MoBo managed to get my 160GB Intel going so quick
OK I just upset myself again

This guide is great, didn't help me (yet!), but it will help me a lot once I buy my Vertex 2 120Gb Extended next week!

Really appreciate your effort, +Rep!

Does this guide still work btw?

Just got my Vertex 2 120Gb Extended, and I installed Steam on my Caviar Black, and games there too..

Would I still be able to move some Steam games into my Vertex?

Which one would you suggest?

I've got lots of games on Steam, but I only want Bad Company 2 + COD: Black Ops on the SSD, how should I do it?

I haven't tried any of them, but Steam Mover seems to be pretty straight forward and tailored for Steam.
