The thing is. If the game could use all your CPU threads, there wouldn't be a problem!
But games don't usually use more that 2 threads although Civ5 uses 4 threads iirc. Although there are a couple of games now, that can use 8 threads (RAGE is one of em)
As for installing on the SSD or HDD!
