2.4 GHz, rev E0, OC potential? - Page 2

Yep, my RAM is 3200 already, gonna get another one exact like this next month, put it up to 1GB. I won't dream for 3.6+, man. My place's temp at summer usually go up to 32oC, so I will need a water cooling for that 3.6 -> rather not to do it, around 3.2Ghz is enough :d

@Noob001: I noticed you have your location is Vietnam. Are you in Vietnam at the moment?
The graphic cards here are no so cheap, 7800 could reach to as high as 500 -> 700$ at the moment )

well, just make sure you have a good airflow in your case... from there... upgrade your CPU cooling sistem... and then... you can fly!

no im not over there right now. will be in 2 months. hahaha i was planning to go back and get a graphic card 2. 500 for a 7800, i rather buy one over here. thx 4 the info anyways

I have that same CPU, and as you can see i have hit 4.01GHZ, trying to work on real long stability, but you need some good temps, you can oc that EASILY too 3.6, 3.83 pretty good, that has good steppings and is the same exactly CPU as I

That CPU of her runs on a bus speed of 533Mhz, yours is 800Mhz. I'm not sure it can score the same perf!

That revision will oc very well. Mine's D0 and it hits 3.8 Ghz. That new revision, E0, will hit higher.

No, Orange's 2.4A also has a 533mhz, stock FSB speed.
