Computer built from spare parts.

Thread Starter
I happened to come across a few used parts, more or less accumulated, and a few new parts and came up with this:

AMD Athlon X2 7850
ASUS M2N-SLI
2GB DDR2 800mhz
19" Monitor
512MB 9800GT
640GB HDD -SATA-
500W PSU
Windows XP 32-bit

How's that look for a combination of used parts? The CPU and Monitor are new and the GT is barely used. ^^ It'll be my other other compy. ^^ I have a spare intel machine as well, but this one stomps all over it. ^^

Just put 4x1GB sticks of Corsair XMS2 DDR2 800mhz into it. Better now? Oh and it's gonna be rocking a solid state drive soon too. Probably gonna upgrade it to Win 7 too.
