sideburns is right, the bigger cache is better, but remember, with the opty, you fork out more cash, just calculate if the increased price is worth the increase in performance in YOUR eyes, an extra 200mhz (approx) overlock on air and the increase in cache, so far not really shown HOW MUCH increase in performance you get with JUST and increase in cache.

Plus i need to find a benchmark were lets say 200FSB X 10 multiplier was tested against 222FSB X 9 multiplier. I want to know which is the best performer.

The 3800+ X2 definitely has a multiplier of 10, and I believe the Optern 165 has a multiplier of 9.

And if you put the extreme cooling in the equasion then well, I am 100% positive I can hit 3GHZ on water with this one.
I was able to run 2850mhz "almost" stable on this one at 1.435volts and 60 temp off-load, I didnt want to go further cause I'm on stock cooling.
the most i got out of my 3800x2 is 2.5 right now

what is your voltage at? you could try to bump up the voltage a bit. (by 0.125v) as long as you dont go over 1.46v. I didnt want mine to go over 1.45 v on air so it's up to you how far you want to go
