AMD dual core overclocking to 3.2GHz?

Thread Starter
Is there any AMD dual core cpu that you would recommend for a friend that can OC to 3.2 GHz using a Thermaltake Bigtyphoon, ASUS A8N SLi board, and the OCZ 2gb dual-channel platinum RAM? And if there is a better setup to achieve this, please share!

Heh, that's what I thought. Didn't really think you would get there with an AMD without going extreme. Thanks a lot anyway!

The world recored for FX-60 Is only a little over 3.8Ghz

I managed to get 3.5Ghz, one of these days when im not too lazy ill try for more. But that 3.8 was on dice.

4Ghz has never been reached. And like i said, you need more extreme than phase (dice aka dry ice) to get to 3.7Ghz.

you wont set any world records on air cooling no matter how many fans you have. most are all extreme water, dry ice, or phase cooling. ive seen an FX-57 up to 4.1+, but it wasnt on air.
