Do you have the 1gb or 768gb version, so I can add it on to the list of compatible aftermarket coolers.

I have a 1GB. It will NOT work in SLI for the top card, though. It's simply too tall frown.gif It fits fine as the bottom card.

Also, it doesn't completely cover the chip surface, but so far it hasn't been an issue. This honestly doesn't surprise me, as that little chunk of aluminum couldn't possibly have been doing much to cool it previously.

Sorry for that. I changed the settings for the album. Now it`s public and I hope you can see the pics too.

Here a pic with my new Blue LED fan:

Hey, I need your guys help! I have a Galaxy GTX 460 Super OC edition and I want to get a after market cooler and I don't know what to get. I measured the mounting holes and it was 2.5 inches or 63.5mm so, what cooler do I need to look for? What are the mounting holes for a reference card b/c if the non-reference card is 53mm, what does that mean for me? please help me guys, you would know

EDIT: Oh and it looks like this,

I believe this card has reference mounts but has the 6 pin connectors where a Palit card has its 6 pin connectors.

Since you have the reference board almost all aftermarket coolers that are out there should fit it since majority of them are made for the reference board.

Off the top of my head here are a few that will fit your card:

1) Gelid Icy Vision
2) Prolimatech-MK13
3) Scythe Musashi

I'd get the Gelid since it's showed pretty awesome temps even for the 470 / 480.

The accelero should be good since the ECS black 460 and the calibre 460 series use it!

Non-reference cards have the 53mmx53mm mounting holes and a shorter PCB. Though the Galaxy 460 had the reference PCB but had the 53x53mm mounting holes which are basically the same as the old 9800GT mounting holes.
