It doesn't look like it will fit since the mounting holes aren't square (as in 53mm x 53mm). Actually I also checked the coolmax 3000 before but the way the base is located for the 3000 (dead center) it doesn't work for the non-reference board.

so? no one actually used a shaman on a double dvi gainward?

Is it possible to modify the gainward cutting the section with the extra dvi?

The Setsugen 2 has not dissapointed me, it's dead silent @ ~1100 rpm and doesn't ever hit over 60c in games.
It hits ~70 in furmark.

V4000 does not fit since it's got square mounting holes only. Prolimatech MK-13 fits fine, but performs underwhelmingly not to mention it's ginormous... Arctic Cooling Accelero Extreme Plus is better.

qiqi1021 is right the v4000 won't fit your reference board it's for non-reference boards. He also gave a good suggestion that the accelero extreme plus would be a better choice. In my opinion though the Gelid Icy Vision will give you the best temps. If you look through the first few pages of this thread we talked about the two and the Gelid gave better temps.

Either way both solutions (accelero or gelid) actually beats the twin frozer cooler (hawk / talon) in tests so you can't go wrong on both!

I want to put the accelero twin turbo pro i had on my 4870 onto my pny gtx460 oc, but the bracket that holds it on looks wrong. The screw holes on the 460 are in a rectangular formation, whereas on the 4870 and the other cards both the brackets were designed for, they are square.

edit: 480 posts!, now lets melt some stuff.
