Random PC Death

Thread Starter
Hey everyone, it's been a while since I've been on this site but it was very helpful the last couple times I used it.

My problem is that when I try to watch a movie or play a game on my computer it will run for a second and then restart. I thought it was the power supply but I recently upgraded to an Antec 500 watt. So I'm pretty sure thats not what it is. Any ideas?

All stock settings. Vcore is bumped to 1.6, but fluctuates.

Is the power at the wall good? Arethere other appliances running on the same circuit?
Nothing like a refigerator, microwave, furnace or TV running on the same circuit to screw with voltage in stability.
a UPS does clean up and stabilize the voltage in!

Nope its not overheating. I have a zalman and monitor temps with speedfan.

It's plugged into a surge protector with my monitor and speakers. I thought the surge protector might be bad so I tried plugging it directly into the wall. Still no good.

I'm worried its my motherboard.

Well since you're all at stock, I'm thinking its your motherboard. Is your RAM stable?
