Our company just has a problem that almost all of the software we use is proprietary and our programmers don't know how to make anything efficient. All of our programs take FOREVER to load. I just set shortcuts to my start menu so they would all pull up while I was gone, then when I would get back I just had to sign into everything, which only takes a couple minutes, but yeah, from start to finish, my old system took anywhere from 12 - 15 minutes to boot and load all the software, depending on how loaded the servers were.
I love it, I work for a smaller, but still national, insurance company, and we have every agent in the country running off of 2 servers. If one goes down, our call volume goes through the roof!
