My tubing looks purple but it is actually blue....
EDIT: So I have a question.... How would it work if I wanted to try -hugeadv? I have never done it on my 2600k and would like to see what kind of PPD I get...Is there a way to switch spots temporarily?
EDIT2: Trying to share my FAH folder from my VM so I can use HFM and it says- Failed to execute child process "testparm" (no such file or dorectory). Any ideas?
Here is a LINK
to the guide I used to set up my 2500k to run hugadv. Really, if you already are set up to run bigadv all you need to do is the corehack portion of the guide. If you read all the way through the guide, it will also show you how to set the corehack to run at startup. If you have your folding client run at startup as well, you will need to put a 5 second delay on the client (to give the corehack time to kick in) and the guide shows you how to do this as well. Personally, I skipped all the stuff in the guide about Langouste as when I first set up my rig, Langouste caused me all kinds of problems and WUs not uploading for hours, it was a mess.
As for switching, you could ask Chuck if he would be interested in switch for a month or so, or if you'd like, we can find a temp (I guess, that would be up to Awesome)...
Aso for sharing the folder, try this (it worked for me):Picked for Digi's guide that I linked before (there are pics in the guide) (Click to show)
One thing that I like to do at this point before I forget, is to enable the sharing of the folder the client is now in. This is required if you want to monitor the client via HFM running on another machine in your network.

Open from the top bar "PLACES, HOME FOLDER" we now see our home folder, with the newly made fah client folder.
Right click on the fah folder and select "Sharing Options" when you click "Share this folder" you will be informed the service needs to be installed. Install it now.
Once it's done you will be asked to restart this session. Go ahead and do that, and every time I do I get this error while Ubuntu is trying to shut down. I suspect it's part of the installer still running. "Log Out Anyway" has yet to fail me
Log back in, go back to your home folder, right click on fah and share the folder with whatever name you desire.
