Ok so here is the deal. Zodac said she already is in need of 3 temps. So we aren't getting one from her. She thought to just have you two switch for a month. But to me that is a big risk in case Blue Dragon runs into a lot of problems setting up his client or with his OC (and I am willing to bet there will be problems, it took me almost a whole month to get my OC to play nicely with hugeadv). The only way I am comfortable with this is if we have a temp to take over the i7-2 spot while Blue Dragon folds for a month on his own. That being said, this means if Blue Dragon wants to do this, he will need to find a temp to replace him.

I hope this isn't coming across as mean, but a couple months back our team fell apart. Our captain went MIA and now decided to start folding for another team. We literally lost every member that was on the team when I started except shneaky pete. We have worked too hard to get back into Div 1 to possibly let it go to test out a theory. Sorry guys.

I have no problems with this... I have no intention of destroying what we have built up again. If I find a replacement cool if not... I'm not too worried about it. Go FA thumb.gif

BBBBAAAAAHHHHH!!!!! I keep getting 6901's WHY STANFORD WHY? madsmiley.png

Edit: On a side note I think my main sig-rig may have bit the dust, at least two the GPU's. So thinking I'm going to have to completely tear down clean and replace some parts. Going to only be able to run one GPU until Kepler comes out and I can replace all three, unless the other two turn out to be allright; which I doubt. However this is giving me the opportunity to place around with my setup a little but, thinking of replacing one of my GTX 360 rads with a airplex modularity system 360mm copper fins. Only problem is I have to figure out what to do with the old 360mm rad. Anyone know anyone that may be interested? I don't have the rep or trader rank to sell on here so will probably put on eBay once I can get the new rad in. Maybe do a comparison review on here. Thinking I need to tear the whole thing down and clean it out any way so tomorrow while I'm recovering from 24 hours of work I may have a little project.

Well I was in a close race for first place in my category. frown.gif I am not sure what happened but I just got into work this morning and my computer had no internet connection. I had to replace my Ethernet cable with a different one to get my connection back. I guess being down for almost an entire weekend and still being third in my category isn't too terrible.

That sucks, but yeah, 3rd is not bad at all! Better than my 6th place (but I'm working on that).

How much do you want for the rad? I might be interested (have a 240 and a 360 rad on my CPU could be overkill, but I'm all about overkill!)

Thanks!!

Also, just wanted to give you all an update. I had my rig down for about 3-4 hours yesterday while I was working on it. I've stripped pretty much everything out of it and once it completes the WU it is on and one more, I'm going to take it down, put Ubuntu native on an 80GB HDD I picked up and it will be a truely dedicated folder. This all should be done by Thursday or Friday depending on the WU I pick up today when my 6901 uploads around 6:00PM EST.

After this is all done, I'll get my 2600k rig put together (I'm about 1/2 way through the build right now), run some benchmarks on it w/ stock cooling, then I'll throw the XSPC kit on it and really see what it can do!

Stock cooling on the 2600K is terrible. I ran Prime 95 on stock OC and it was almost pushing 90°C withing 2 mins. Needless to say, I shut it off very shortly after I saw it peak. How high are you trying to OC to?

^^ this... even a single 120 rad isn't "great" for a 2600k.... I would just skip the stock and put the XSPC right on that bad boy thumb.gif
