You are right, I didn't have to relearn HTML, but I wanted to do it, do it right and make it look good. Frankly, you could tell that it had been maintained by a number of different people as all the HTML code was wonky and I hate the editor we have here on OCN. Sure its fine for just posting like this, but when trying to do something like the teams first page where you would want some design control to make it look like something, it is a bit of a pain. So, I just copied the original into notepad++, found a good HTML resource online and went to work.
Now the code is pretty well cleaned up (it got a little sloppy at the end because I was tired, but I'll fix that later) and I picked back up some of the basic HTML know how that I had when I was in high school. This really was more of an exercise for me as I want to build a website for the team and I figured this was a good way to get my feet wet. That and when I first looked at the code, my OCD kicked in and I had to clean it up...now it just looks cleaner (sure, no one else will probably see the code but me until a new captain takes over, but just knowing how much of a mess it was bugged me).
