Still working on developing a Debian based Folding Build. Are there any requests for features or anything?
Once I get it all done and tested I will most likely post a link to download the iso and write a guide to using it.
Thanks for the numbers!
As for the build, if you can remove as much of the bloat that normal OS builds have, anything that doesn't need to be running, that would make me happy. I know even with Ubuntu, there is still a lot running in the background (I just know when I pull up the system manager, there is a big list, I have no idea what it all is). Anyway, I'd also like to see something that is configured, or at least a guide to tell you how, to run headless. Right now I have a KVM switch hooked up to both my 2500k and 2700k so I can jump to my 2500k when I need to do anything, but if I could run it headless, move it to another part of the house (and free up the space on my desk) that would be awesome.
Like I've said before, I'm a total n00b with Linux, so any help I can get is always appreciated. I'm starting back into school in the fall to get an associates in programming and I'm hoping that involves some OS classes so I can learn how to work on stuff like this! My bachelors degree is in Political Science (planned on teaching history) but now that is useless to me as I'm a Systems Analyst now, so at least my company will pay for me to go back to school so long as it is computer related!
